Scope of support#

Before contacting us, please make sure that you read the following, as we provide support only for the following

  • all System-on-module mentioned at Hardware supported by SimpleCore™ and qemux86-64

  • unmodified versions of the software used in any of the downloadable items through this page, including
    • SimpleSwitch™ base images

    • SimpleSwitch™ SDKs

    • SimpleSwitch™ launcher

    • SimpleSwitch™ applications

    • SimpleSwitch™ VSCode add-in

  • the documentation

  • Scotty

the following cannot be supported

  • Windows subsystem for Linux (WSL, WSL2)

  • Linux distributions other than unmodified Ubuntu 22.04, Ubuntu 24.04 and Debian bookworm

  • issues arising from using any parts of this offering in a product or product like environment

  • modified versions of above mentioned software

  • requests for modification (e.g. kernel or bootloader configuration)

  • feature requests

Use of Github#

Issues that are covered by Scope of support, can be raised using GitHub issues, in the respective repository at GitHub.

Issues are managed automatically

  • Issues that are clearly not covered by the Scope of support will be closed automatically

  • Issues that are missing information will be labeled with question
    • the creator of the issue is required to provide such missing information within 30 days, past that the issue is subject to be closed automatically

Any other way of engagement, such as email, is discouraged and cannot be processed further.
